Nano Brows

Nano Brows are a newer style of Semi Permanent Eyebrows. These "tattooed" eyebrows heal more natural than the traditional microblading. Nano Brows are done by creating hairstrokes from the front of the brow to the tail. The initial results tend to be bold and dark. Over time the brow color fades about 30-50% and some brows shrink.  

A consult is required prior to booking. Consults may be booked online for in person or virtual via Zoom.

❌ PMU Brow Service Contraindications

Before booking your Permanent Makeup (PMU) brow service — such as Microblading, Powder Brows, Nano Brows, or Combo Brows — please review the following information carefully.
If any of these apply, you may not be a candidate for treatment at this time.

🚫 Absolute Contraindications

You cannot receive a PMU brow service if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have any active skin infection (bacterial, viral, or fungal) near the brow area
• Have a bloodborne illness (Hepatitis, HIV, etc.)
• Have a bleeding disorder or take blood-thinning medication (Warfarin, Heparin, high-dose Aspirin)
• Have a known allergy to pigment, lidocaine, or topical anesthetics
• Have a history of keloid or hypertrophic scarring
• Are undergoing chemotherapy or radiation (unless medically cleared)
• Have uncontrolled diabetes
• Have had Botox or fillers in the brow area within the last 4 weeks
• Have used Accutane (isotretinoin) in the past 12 months
• Have active psoriasis, eczema, or dermatitis on or around the brow area
• Have uncontrolled epilepsy or seizure disorders
• Are currently ill, including COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms

⚠️ Temporary / Relative Contraindications

You may need to wait or obtain medical clearance if you:

• Recently tinted, waxed, or threaded your brows (wait 7–10 days)
• Had a chemical peel, microdermabrasion, or laser treatment near the brows (wait 2–4 weeks)
• Are using Retin-A, retinol, AHA, or BHA products near the brow area (stop 1–2 weeks before and after)
• Have a sunburn or recent UV overexposure (wait until fully healed)
• Have a new scar or recent surgery near the brow area (wait 6–12 months)
• Have an autoimmune condition (doctor’s note may be required)
• Have thyroid disorders (can affect pigment retention)
• Are anemic or have other blood-related conditions
• Are on antibiotics or steroids (can affect healing)
• Have a history of cold sores near the brow/forehead area (antiviral may be recommended)
• Are on your menstrual cycle (may experience more sensitivity)
• Have recent emotional or medical stress (wait until stable)

🩺 Medical Clearance Recommended

Please provide written clearance from your physician if you have:

• Heart conditions or a pacemaker
• Autoimmune disorders
• Organ transplant history
• Recent major surgery or serious illness
• Long-term medication that affects healing
